MEET DR. REBA

Reba Royster, LPC LCAS brings 20 years of experience in providing direct behavioral health supports to children in North Carolina.  

 

She completed her academic studies at Liberty University where she Mastered in Professional Counseling in 2013.  She completed a terminal degree in Business Administration (D.B.A.) from Walden University in 2018. She has a certification as a trauma focused therapist where she provides support to assist children and adults in working through various trauma experiences.

In addition to working with clients with complex traumas and emotional disturbances, she is also a licensed substance abuse clinician and experienced treating individuals with behavioral and substance abuse issues. Theoretical approaches utilized by Reba include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma focused CBT, and motivational interviewing. Reba approaches therapy with a person centered approach allowing the child to be encouraged and confident in making decisions and changes as they discover their stronger selves.


Reba is experienced in treating a wide array of disorders afflicting adults including PTSD, depression, substance use/abuse, and severe and persistent mental illness.  She uses her experience to support individuals through positive therapeutic experiences and to support business ventures to benefit those she serves.

Dr. Reba, as she is affectionately known, also provides consultative services sharing her business prowess that she has gained in the past two decades with others hoping to initiate their own enterprises in the behavioral healthcare field. Dr. Reba has provided support to successfully launch over a dozen successful businesses through her consultation services.
